This Privacy Policy describes how Synctoolo ("we," "our," or "the platform" at https://www.synctoolo.com) handles information when you access our website, utilities, calculators, formatters, and AI generation tools.

This policy applies universally to all visitors across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices. By accessing or using Synctoolo, you acknowledge the data handling practices outlined in this document.

Unlike conventional SaaS platforms that require email capture, credit cards, or account creation, Synctoolo is engineered to operate with zero identity friction:

• No User Accounts or Logins: You are never required to register, create a username, provide an email address, or create a password to use any tool.
• No Financial or Credit Card Data: All utilities are 100% free. We never request billing addresses, bank details, or credit card numbers.
• No Tool Input Interception: Text typed or pasted into local utilities (including Word Counter, JSON Formatter, Base64 Encoder, Regex Tester, and calculators) is processed in browser memory and is never logged or recorded.
• No Advertising Profiles or Cross-Site Tracking: We do not track your browsing history across third-party websites, nor do we construct behavioral advertising profiles.

When you use an AI-assisted generator (such as YouTube Title Generator, Instagram Caption Generator, or Blog Outline Writer), the text you submit is handled under strict ephemeral standards:

• Stateless HTTPS Transmission: Your generation request is sent over encrypted TLS/HTTPS directly to our secure edge endpoint, which queries the AI model provider (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI API).
• No Database Retention: We do not store, archive, or database user prompt submissions or generated outputs. Once the response payload is returned to your browser, it is immediately discarded from memory.
• No Model Training on User Data: Per our API service agreements with model providers, prompts transmitted through Synctoolo API keys are not used to train or refine public foundation models.

Synctoolo uses modern HTML5 Web Storage (localStorage) strictly on your device to enhance your user experience:

• Saved Favorites: If you click the heart icon on any tool, that tool slug is saved in your local browser storage so it appears under your favorites.
• Recent Tools: Slugs of recently visited tools are kept in local storage to provide quick access under your browser history.

This data exists solely on your local device. It is never synchronized to an external database and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.

When you request a web page on Synctoolo, our edge hosting infrastructure (e.g. Vercel, Cloudflare CDN) automatically logs standard technical data strictly for reliability, DDoS mitigation, and server diagnostics:

• Internet Protocol (IP) address (anonymized for analytics)
• Browser user-agent and operating system family
• HTTP request headers, response status codes, and timestamps
• Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) requested

These operational logs are retained only for temporary periods necessary to maintain site security, combat bot scrapers, and diagnose network failures.

We respect universal privacy standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), and the UK Data Protection Act:

• Right to Erasure & Non-Retention: Because we do not require accounts or store your tool inputs, there is no database of personal information to erase. Clearing your browser cache immediately wipes all local preferences.
• Non-Discrimination: Every feature on Synctoolo is accessible without requiring you to surrender privacy or consent to behavioral tracking.
• No Sale or Sharing of Personal Data: Synctoolo has never sold, rented, or monetized personal information, and we will never do so in the future.

Our website may contain links to external platforms, such as our project support page on Patreon, GitHub, or social channels. These external platforms operate under their own independent privacy policies. We encourage you to review their terms when visiting them.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new tools, algorithmic improvements, or changes in regulatory standards. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will always indicate when revisions went into effect.
